Everything is very delicious, very typical of the south of the land of Oaxaca, good seasoning, very familiar atmosphere, and excellent service, incredibly friendly, the food is prepared at the moment, it takes a while, but it guarantees freshness, the chocolate is artisanal and very rich, everything is very filling, and at an excellent price, pleasant and trustworthy atmosphere. I highly recommend it, especially if you want to try something new and different, with a lot of space.

If you haven't tried Oaxacan food, you have to go to this place. Super recommended, all their dishes have the Oaxacan touch in flavor, the water chocolate, the bread, their Jamaican water, the tlayudas, all exquisite. The service was a little slow, but that's when you realize that everything is fresh and not reheated. Family business, super excellent service. The only bad thing is when you get full and can't keep getting weak from that delicious food and drinks.

I only went for a chocolate, but you can visit a little piece of Oaxaca in Durando.Very good hostess and the dishes go well.I recommend that you check the schedule or make an appointment before going, it is not always open.

The authenticity of this restaurant leaves me amazed... a corner of Oaxaca in the center of Durango. I have come to Casa del Mitote several times and I have always been enchanted by their menu, authentic and artisanal,...the dishes are prepared at the moment....The mole, the tlayudas, the pozole, and their Oaxacan-style tamales mm mm yummi and delicious... their chocolate prepared with water is splendid... exquisite!!! I highly recommend this corner of Oaxaca!
